Welcome to PALATINE.

PALATINE is the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Dance, Drama and Music, established in 2000 to support and enhance learning and teaching in performing arts higher education across the UK.

We are one of the 24 Subject Centres of the Subject Network of the Higher Education Academy, and our website features a range of events, funding opportunities, ideas, information, reports and resources to help those involved in the learning and teaching of our disciplines to enhance the student learning experience.

We focus on a number of themes, which include Assessment and Feedback, Creativity, Employability and Employer Engagement, Entrepreneurship, HE in FE, Supporting Early Career Lecturers, and a number other areas that can be found in the themes section of the website.
