Skinner Releasing Training

REVIEW: The Skinner Release Technique (SRT) is described as training in 'letting go' and in releasing tension and stress through specific exercises. SRT classes use imagery and a combination of technical and creative work to release 'habitual holding patterns'. The site introduces SRT and advertises workshops in Seattle, Toronto and Miami. There are also details of the teacher certification programme, a directory of teachers and an article on 'Imagery and its Application to Movement Training'. This argues that movement depends on mental as much as physical activity. It then describes the pedagogy of imagery used in Skinner Release Training. Further articles may follow and the current article is referenced.
