NEW PUBLICATION - Creative Graduates: Enhancing teaching-research links in the

This newly published briefing paper, authored by Terry Wareham, is intended for academics and institutional policy-makers within creative disciplines in higher education, to provoke debate and enhance understanding of the ways in which research and teaching can be conceptualised and linked so that students emerge from their programmes of study with knowledge and attributes that equip them not only to enter the creative industries but to move those industries forward: to become creative graduates.
The paper is one outcome of the Creative Graduates project, which is a collaborative project currently being undertaken by PALATINE and the Art Design Media Subject Centre ADM-HEA, funded by the Scottish QAA, that is investigating the potential for the enhancement of high level graduate attributes through research-teaching linkages in the creative arts.
The briefing paper is now available online (PDF A4 format).
