This briefing paper is intended for academics and institutional policy-makers within creative disciplines in higher education to provoke debate and enhance understanding of the ways in which research and teaching can be conceptualised and linked so that students emerge from their programmes of study with knowledge and attributes that equip them not only to enter the creative industries but to move those industries forward: to become creative graduates. The paper is one outcome of the Creative Graduates project which is part of the Scottish Quality Assurance Agency enhancement theme Research-Teaching Linkages: Enhancing Graduate Attributes.

CoLab DVD

The CoLab Project (2006) was a collaborative project between MMU Cheshire and Coventry University's School of Art and Design to develop graduate to postgraduate to emergent professional support for the development of enterprise capability and entrepreneurial creative practice. This DVD documents the relevant institutional projects within CoLab and the joint symposia. It includes copies of key documents, reports from the events, and videos of performances and guest speakers.
