Higher education faces many concerns and contradictions in its pursuit of effective practice in learning, teaching and assessment, and assessment in HE performing arts provides a number of particular and complex challenges.

This Starting Out workshop is a one-day workshop for new or relatively new lecturers in HE that explores some of the issues, and shares ideas and good practices in the area of the assessment of performance in dance, drama and music.
